Postpartum Libido: Boost Your Sex Drive

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

Most women notice a decrease in libido after baby because they’re tired and overwhelmed.  The key to boosting your desire is through feeling connected to your husband or partner.  I say, “date your mate”.  Your date need not cost a dime…you can enjoy each other’s company at home.  Cuddle and watch a movie, share a dessert, and keep the focus on the two of you rather than your kids.  Notice how when you’re feeling connected your desire will increase.  Make “we” time a priority- the more connected you feel emotionally and physically the better you’ll both feel!

Postpartum Weight Loss- Form a Group

Wednesday, October 15th, 2008

You’ll be much more likely to stick with an exercise program if you’re working out with a friend or group.  To start a group ask fellow neighbors if they’d like to walk or workout then set a couple of days to workout for the week.  Once you have a group to workout with you’ll be more motivated because you’ll enjoy the social interaction.  Once the group gets going start challenging each other to workout a little harder.  You’ll love the connection and you’ll love the physical and mental/emotional results from forming a group!

Laser treatement is less painful and requires less time to recover than other methods. The level of discomfort varies with each person, depending on his/her pain threshold. In some cases, depending on the person’s physical and psychological state, physician may use topical local anesthesia.

What To Do If Tatto Is Not Removed After One Treatement?
Tattoo may not be removed in one treatment procedure. It may take few treatement sessions to remove the tatto completely.

Leukonychia is an infection of nails which causes white spotting or streaking of the nails. The term Leukonychia is taken from Greek and it means white nails. Leukonychia is commonly associated due to an outcome from injury, arsenic poinsoning, renal failure, hypoalbuminemia, heart disorders or pneumonic infections.

Leukonychia is an autosomal dominant inheritance. Congenital or heriditary leukonychia comes at birth or cause due to family history. Congenital leukonychia may be associated with deafness.

Causes of Leukonychia:

  • Exposure to cold
  • Stress
  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • Leprosy
  • Anemia
  • Trauma

Diagnosis of Leukonychia:
The physician takes medical history of this infection to determine leukonychia. He can take kidney and liver functioning tests. If he identifies it is associated due to the lack of zinc, a diet which contains more zinc can be recommended to the patient.

Treatment of Leukonychia:

Postpartum Weight Loss- One Goal Per Day

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

After having a baby the thought of getting fit can be overwhelming.  I recommend setting simple, achievable goals for exercise and eating healthy per day.  For example write down for an exercise goal,  “I will walk 10 min today.” And for a  nutrition goal:   “I will drink 1 extra glass of water today.”   Each small step builds momentum and that equals progress!  When you make the goals simple and attainable the overwhelm will go away and you’ll accomplish more.  Start today with one simple goal for exercise and nutrition and you have already made progress!

Key Point= One Goal Per Day= Feel You’ve Accomplished Something= Increases Motivation= Weight Loss
